Your nature is what makes way for your future. Every great altitude stems out of a right attitude. Success in life can be achieved by hard work but it is attitude that sustains it and keeps it growing. Attitude is the completer of destiny.

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly; Genesis 17:1-2 KJV. You cannot go far in life without a right attitude. There are four basic areas we need to develop a very strong and perfect attitude.

Attitude To God

You need to appreciate that the totality of your existence is a product of God’s grace. Divine presence is our greatest asset in the race of life. Life without God is a mere race but life with God will add the letter “G” to our race making us to live a life with Grace.

We are like a sheep that need the guidance of a shepherd.  A sheep without a shepherd will live a life of uncertainty. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; Psalm 23:1 KJV. If we make God our shepherd, we will continue to live a life without want.

Attitude To Life

Life is a gift not a grief it is a privilege not a right. If you don’t embrace the gift of life, you stand to be disgraced. Life is an act of living and its evidence is in contributions. When you stopped making contribution to your world then you have stopped living but merely existing. Life is about contribution not consumption, it is about relevance not significance.

Life is about service not status; it is about sacrifice not surplus. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also rep; Galatians 6:7 KJV.  Whatever we give to life is what determines the outcome of the product we receive from it. Life is about responsibility, if you don’t take responsible now you will become a responsibility in future.

Attitude To Work

Work is not a curse it existed before the curse. And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; Genesis 1:26 KJV. Work is a channel of blessing designed by God for our destiny. If you don’t work for a living, you will beg for survival. Nothing happens until you make it happen.

The kind of work we do is determined by the skill we acquired. Skill acquired is an investment to the future.  There is no little work; it is our attitude toward every opportunity to work that determines the outcome of the challenge in working we undergo. You must work to learn and not just to earn. Working to earn and not to learn is like living a life of slavery. Until we have the right mentality towards every work we do, then we will continue to suffer from the wrong mentality of the mind. It is working to learn that makes a leader while working to earn makes a slave.

Attitude To Money

Money is a blessing

If you have it but a curse if it has you. Money in the hand is a blessing; but if it gets into the heart it becomes a curse, because the love of money opens you to all kinds of evil. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows; 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV.

Money is not evil

it is the love of it that makes an idol out of from it. Money is placed in your hand to enhance your stewardship to your world, not just to enlarge your possessions like the rich fool. See Luke 12:13-21 for emphasis purpose. There is one thing you cannot overdo which is called good. The bigger your capacity to bless, the greater the level to which you will be blessed; this simply means you are the one to determine the extent to which you are blessed.

Conclusion: It is the attitude you develop that determines the nature of your life. Attitude is like a smoke, it cannot be hidden. No matter how you try to pretend, it will always get you fished out uncontrollably. Charisma might get you the success you desire but it is attitude that determines the sustainability. When we embrace the right attitude towards God our future is preserved. A right attitude towards life guarantee longevity, we make an impact in life with the right attitude to work and we will continue to live a life of abundance if our attitude towards money is void of evil.
