It takes result to cancel insult. God is anti-stagnation. He is against everything that is opposed to His programme for your life.

Those who make progress in the absence of oppositions cannot be compared in terms of results and testimonies, with those who keep advancing in the face of adverse situations and circumstances.

Champions are those who turn the limes of life into smiles. Challenges are not to destroy you but are there to bring out the champion in you.

You cannot sit on a table dining and wining then expect to be crown as a winner; you have to compete to emerge a winner.

Life is designed for motion and when it is void of that, it becomes frustrating because you either move or you are removed. One of the acid tests for progress is an obstacle.

In a video game, the way to know you are going in the right direction is when you keep seeing enemies on the way, they are the obstacles you must overcome for you to move to the next stage of success.

Life is a race, if you stop running, you will be run over by those coming behind you. You can be moving and not advancing, you can be on the go and not getting anywhere.

The state of your mind is what makes the principles and strategies for progress to produce results. I will like you to consider these few keys for a positive outcome of your life.

Initiate Your Progress

Progress is initiated by you or external force. It is better to initiate progress for yourself, than wait for circumstance to push you which are an external force; you might not recover on time.

You have been going about this mountain country long enough; turn northward. Deuteronomy 2:3 RSV

When you do not make progress, even people who used to like you will begin to antagonize you. It is adversity that leads to advancement.

Build A Change Mentality

The success of yesterday cannot match the standard of today. For example, an application that can run smoothly on windows 10 can be frustrating when trying to run on windows 7.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 KJV

Yesterday’s success, if it is not improved upon, becomes today’s failure. What you don’t oppose in your mind, you will soon approve.

Exercise Through Practice

Greatness is not a state, rather it is an attitude. You do not suddenly become great, you grow in greatness. How do you achieve this? Simply by building up an attitude for it.

What you don’t practicalize cannot be actualized. You practice greatness by building up an attitude for it. Greatness is a seed that you keep nurturing; fertilizing and developing till you come into the limelight.

Seek God First

What you seek determines your direction in life. You will always go in the same direction as whatever you are running after. Those who seek the Most High will always go high.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV

You will never have a position among men until you give God the first position in your life. Those who are genuinely connected to God are never reduced, rather they are built up.

You cannot be built by God and be dropped by men. When God makes you, men cannot mess you up. It does not matter how many people are holding you, if God’s hand is not there, you are not safe.

Conclusion: Progress does not begin with physical motion but from the mind. Your decision determines your activities and your activities in turn mould your destiny. What you are today is a product of your decisions yesterday and your decisions today will determine where you arrived tomorrow. Indecision is the reason for so many things that have remained undone in our lives. Until you are ready to accept the responsibility of decision making, you cannot experience progress in life.
