There is no manifestation without preparation. Every encounter is born out of adequate preparations. The heart is a place of communion between God and man.

It is not what you do or say outwardly that guarantees a release from Heaven, but what goes on in your heart. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunk; 1 Samuel 1: 13.

There is no outstanding answer to prayers without an outstanding preparation in the heart. The preparation of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord; Proverb 16:1. The following are ways to prepare for God to receive answers in our prayers.

Consecration

The only prayer of a sinner that get to God is a prayer of repentance. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me; Psalms 66: 18. Any little sin you constitute in your Christian life is a danger to your life. Take us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes; Song Of Solomon 2:15. Consecration is the foundation for prayers that command answers from heaven.

Be Offence-Free

When you try to justify yourself in prayer to God, you have committed an offence to God because you try to count yourself faithful and God otherwise. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, what makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?; Isaiah 45:9.If you have lost anything, God is the reason you haven’t lost everything.

Forgive

A heart full of love; both towards God and your fellow man is a main requirement if your prayer most get to the throne room of Heaven. Forgiveness is an expression of Love. It is spiritual foolishness to love without forgiveness. Until the love foundation is in place, effectual prayer is impossible (Matthew 18: 24-35).

Conclusion: For us to experience a speedy answer to our prayers, all these three keys; Consecration, Offense-Free and Heart of Forgiveness must be in place always. As we begin to engage in these acts, our prayer shall never be void of answers. Thank You.
